Her more recent work is subtle and complex, even meditative, with multiple layers of patterns and textures. It is influenced by her abstract and surrealistic photography, as well as quiltmaking and decorative arts. Whether complex or simple, Hudson aims for aesthetic pleasure and her abstract art is always harmonious and balanced.</b></p>
